– The skin is not a barrier to aluminum, nor is the mouth a barrier to mercury, both toxic to humans –

Port Ludlow, WA (October 18, 2012) – Herbalix Restoratives, LLC today announced that the company is attending the IABDM annual conference, “Outside the Box: Advances in Biological Dentistry and Medicine” on October 19-21 in Vienna, Virginia. The IABDM is a non-profit network of dentists, physicians and allied health professionals worldwide are committed to integrating body, mind, spirit and mouth in caring for the whole person.

Last May the IABDM challenged the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for failing to protect the American public from a medical device containing 50 percent mercury, a material known by FDA to damage the kidneys, nervous system, and brain, particularly in unborn and young children. U.S. agencies have avoided taking a definitive stance on dental amalgam, while other countries including Norway, Sweden and Denmark have banned the toxic mercury fillings. Many other countries placed limitations on their use for pregnant women and children, and the Council of Europe called for their restriction and prohibition.

“The future of dentistry is embracing a total body wellness-based model because a healthy mouth is the cornerstone of a healthy person,” said Michael Fessler, founding partner and vice president of Herbalix Restoratives. “The skin is not a barrier to aluminum, nor is the mouth a barrier to mercury, and both toxic to humans. Our one-of-a-kind, organic detoxifying deodorant, the Herbalix Nighttime Cleansing Detox Deodorant, has been found to help cleanse metals like aluminum and mercury from the body. Fessler has an extensive background in science and engineering.

Dedicated to advancing excellence in the art and science of biological dentistry, the conference speakers and topics include Chris Shade, PhD: “Amplifying Natural Mercury Detoxification”and Ella McElwee, ND, HmD, PhD: “Medicine That Works, Homeopathy.”

About The International Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine (IABDM)
The IABDM is committed to the education of holistic dentists, physicians and practitioners in the art and science of biological dentistry. The purpose of the IABDM is to promote biological dental medicine utilizing non-toxic diagnostic and therapeutic approaches in the field of clinical dentistry.

The group proposes to accomplish this by actively importing the technology and knowledge that foreign and American colleagues have and conducting seminars on biological diagnosis and therapy with medical-dental therapy. The IABDM will also promote the transfer of worldwide biophysical knowledge to the field of clinical dentistry, bringing the theory and practice of traditional Chinese acupuncture into better focus so as to act as a unifying concept to allow the biologically-oriented dentist to participate with the biologically- ecologically- and environmentally-oriented physician in the resolution of common patient disease states.

A network of physicians and dentists will work conjointly to provide unified diagnosis and treatment procedures for their common patients. Dentists will play a greater role in the treatment of the environmentally ill patient and those whose disease etiology is still identified as idiopathic or unknown.

The IAMDB intends to promote biocompatible corrections and restorative dental procedures based on our scientific knowledge of energy, electromagnetics, sound, light, acupuncture, homeopathy and nutrition, in addition to the myriad of traditional scientific disciplines that constitute clinical dentistry.
